Daisy Jarrett was born and raised in Brixton, South London, still currently living in south London, as well as being an artist she also works as a print tutor and technician in an adult education college.
Daisy works across media but has always loved the tactile, painterly nature of mono printing. Her work is first and foremost about women and the female experience, she is interested in themes of the domestic, social media, body image, portraiture and the female gaze and the everyday.
Daisy Graduated from the University of Brighton in 2011 with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art Printmaking and then went on to complete a MA in Fine Art Printmaking at the Royal College of Art, graduating in 2013.
Daisy has previously exhibited at Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair 2018 and 2021 where she won the Slaughterhouse printmaking prize. Daisy has 9 pieces in the Soho House collection and in many private collections across the UK, Europe and USA and is exhibiting at Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2023.
